Salted Caramel Sauce

Ingredients

  • 100g sugar

  • 40g butter

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 200g heavy cream

Directions

  • Pour the sugar in a pan and set on medium heat. Do not stir.
  • When the sugar has melted, and is golden brown, add butter and stir with a whip.
  • Add the cream and whip gently until combined.
  • Heat for another five minutes.
  • Pour the sauce into a jar and place in the fridge.
